Amarjit Gill has been the Chief Dental Officer for Practice Plan and Chief Dental Adviser for Philips Healthcare. Amarjit was president of the British Dental Association (BDA)2010 -2011. Up until 2008 he was Deputy Chairman of the BDA . Amarjit was also a current member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As a freelance dental journalist he continues to write for many of the dental magazines and is a renowned lecturer in British Dentistry, primarily talking about the Future of Dentistry and Tooth whitening. As president of the British Dental Association for 2010, he was our ambassador for dentistry for the UK, visiting many countries to raise the awareness of British dentistry around the world. Our Cosmetic Dentistry practice is located in Wollaton, Nottinghamshire, we are 5 minutes from the QMC and only a short drive from Nottingham City Centre.
Wollaton is just minutes from the A52 from Derby and the M1, making it easy for patients visiting from Leicester, Sheffield and further a field. Most of our patients visit the practice once every 6 months for a dental examination and maybe visit one of our dental hygienists. As part of our preventative approach, we educate our patients on the best ways to look after their teeth, but also offer the latest in preventative treatments for gum disease problems. This means our patients visit us for the treatment they want to have, such as teeth whitening, white fillings and smile make overs.
