Mouth Cancer

Mouth cancer can affect all parts of the mouth and appears in different forms. In its early stages mouth cancer itself can be painless perhaps a small lump or a non healing ulcer.

The dentist checks for the early warning signs in your mouth or on your tongue using a light touch with their fingers.

Mouth cancer can affect anyone, but smoking & heavy drinking can increase the risk of getting it. (Latest statistics found up to 90 % of mouth cancer was found in smokers & heavy drinkers) So if you need another reason to give up smoking, you could add this to your list

Mouth cancer detected in the early stages has a good chance of being cured.
